In this ten week course, you will practice using water-based media to illustrate and communicate ideas in several genres of illustration. You will learn through practical exercises and applying your learning to small projects. Areas covered will include: Calligraphy and text, colour theory, using and selecting tools and equipment, watercolour and Indian inks, using brushes to create: line, colour, volume/shapes, washes, experimental effects and handmade tools, sketching, drawing and image planning for water-based media and using a sketchbook Suitable for complete beginners, or those with some illustration or design experience who would benefit from a focussed study of traditional water-based media.

Discounted Fee Information
If you are a senior citizen in receipt of a state pension, unemployed or a full time FE or HE student, the discounted fee as stated in the course description is applicable.
