The Glasgow School of Art has a small number of places available for suitably qualified and eligible applicants.
How to Apply through Clearing
Please see the list of courses and fee categories below that have clearing places available. Then complete the Clearing Application Form and return it by email to clearing@gsa.ac.uk
To allow us to direct your application to the appropriate programme team, please insert the programme title that you are interested in as the email subject/title.
Include the following documents with your completed clearing application form (scanned copies will be acceptable):
- A copy of your academic qualifications
- A copy of your English Language qualification (only if English is not your first language, i.e. IELTS qualification)
- 15 images of your own work which will form your portfolio submission. See sample portfolios (see admissions guide pdfs)
Following receipt of the above, your application will be passed to the relevant member of academic staff for a full assessment. We will then confirm to you whether or not we are able to offer you a place to study in September 2023.
Clearing Vacancies (correct as at 17 August 2023)
RUK Vacancies
To be eligible to apply for an RUK vacancy, you will normally be a UK national, resident in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

To be eligible to apply for a Home Fee Paying vacancy you will normally be a UK national resident in Scotland or an EU applicant with settled/pre-settled status.

To be eligible to apply for an international vacancy, you will normally be a national from a country outside of the UK. This will include any EU applicant who does not have Settled/Pre-settled status
