Eligible offer holders can benefit from our Transitions into GSA activities before starting their degree programme at GSA in September. Eligible offer holders are state school leavers entering year 1 of undergraduate programmes at GSA who meet at least one of the Widening Participation programme eligibility criteria. 

The aim of the programme is to help incoming first year students to start their degree at GSA with confidence. Transitions into GSA 2023 is delivered in three parts: 

• GSA Student Q&A session - Online
  Thursday 18 May 2023, 5pm–7pm  

Hear from current GSA students about their journey from High School to Art School and ask any questions you have about preparing for and starting your undergraduate studies. 

• Welcome + Degree Show Tour – On Campus
  Tuesday 6 June 2023, 10am–2pm 

Meet the WP team, learn more about getting ready for Art School in September then enjoy a tour of the GSA Degree Show.

• Studio Week – On Campus
  Monday 11 – Friday 15 September 2023

Take part in a practical studio course which will give you the opportunity to experience key aspects of learning and teaching at GSA including attending a lecture, gathering secondary research, working independently in response to a creative brief, having a tutorial, learning from your peers and taking part in a group crit. The course will help you to hit the ground running when your degree programme starts. All materials are provided free of charge.
