Period Poverty >

The Glasgow School of Art supports eradicating period poverty. Following funding from the Scottish Government in 2018, free sanitary products have been provided for students in schools, colleges and universities. This is now a legal requirement established in the Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Act 2021.

GSA supplies disposables to all toilets on campus with bulk options collectable from shower rooms on the Glasgow Campus. Our Highlands and Islands campus also has disposables collectable from toilets.

We work with Hey Girls to assist in online ordering and postal delivery of reusables direct to our students.

We survey our students annually to review service and delivery options.
